Stochastic meets deterministic

The engine sweeps statutes, agency dockets, county and municipal agendas, statutory notices and press coverage on a fixed daily cadence. Candidates enter a deterministic pipeline that classifies each source, resolves it to the body that issued it, and refuses any claim it cannot bind to a primary record. Where the question is quantitative, the estimate is simulated rather than asserted. Confidence is never inferred from fluency.

Two dates, never one

Every report states when its sources were last checked and when its analysis was last validated, as two separate facts. They are allowed to disagree, and when they do, the report says so.
